Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 26 August 2026
By using mcr.guide you agree to use the guide lawfully and responsibly under these terms.
About the guide
mcr.guide is an independent information guide to Manchester. We work to improve accuracy, but prices, opening hours, availability, menus, deal terms and other details can change without notice. Check important details with the venue before travelling or purchasing.
Reviews and user-generated content
- You are responsible for content you submit and for having the right to publish it.
- Content must not contain abuse, threats, deliberate misinformation, another person’s private information or unlawful material.
- We may moderate, reject, hide or remove content to protect the quality and safety of the guide.
- When you submit a review, you give us a non-exclusive permission to display and operate that content within mcr.guide services while you keep your underlying rights in it.
Deals and offers
Deals may be time-limited, availability-limited and subject to venue terms. An offer or activation code shown in the app does not guarantee acceptance or availability if the offer has expired or the provider changes its terms. Any purchase or service is between you and the venue directly.
Maps and external links
The app may open map services, venue websites, phone numbers or other third-party services. We do not control their availability or terms, and your use of them is governed by their providers.
Acceptable use
- Do not disrupt the service, bypass rate limits or misuse APIs.
- Do not use automated tools to extract large amounts of content without permission.
- Do not impersonate a person or venue or deliberately submit misleading information.
Intellectual property
The mcr.guide brand, software, design and editorial content are owned by their respective rights holders or used with permission. Venue trademarks, images and venue-owned material remain the property of their respective owners.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the service available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused solely by relying on venue information that has changed or by a service supplied directly by a third party.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service evolves. These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
